The Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Bauchi chapter, comrade Dauda Shuaibu said that they have not recorded any form of resistance from the State workers and security personnel in the State.
NLC Chairman Shuaibu Confirmed this to our correspondent on a phone call, saying that they witnessed partial compliance on day one.
According to the Chairman, Shuaibu said “We’ve gotten compliance from both NLC/TUC affiliates in the state. We’ve not recorded any form of resistance or assault from workers or security personnel”
Universal reporters Observed that the strike action in Bauchi was in partial compliance at the time of visitation to hospitals and essential service workers were not affected by the industrial action as Doctors and other medical service personnel were busy attending to patients at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBU-TH) and the State Specialists Hospital.
