No Going Back On N6.1 billion Nasarawa Airport Project-Works Commissioner

The commissioner for Works and Transport, Hon Yahaya Wada has said there is no going back on Kwandare-Keffi airport, the commissioner hinted this in an exclusive Interview with universalreporters247.com.

Honorable Wada maintained that all arrangement for the civil work has been reached, stating that the State Executive Council has approved the airport project, he in addition buttressed that the construction firm would focus on Tarmac and Taxi way which is the first phase of the project.

The commissioner averred that the time frame for the completion is twelve to eighteen months; he further affirmed that the state in a bold step to add value to communities in the state is committed to constructing the 61 Km Lafia-Kwandare road.

Yahaya Wada revealed that the project if completed, it would reduce the risk and time used to travel from Keffi to Lafia,”If the new road is completed it will ease the burden of faraway long Journey which will last like 2 hours.

Speaking on moribund state owned Transport Company; “Nasarawa Express “the commissioner said the state in no distance time will revive the moribund transport company for the interest of the people of Nasarawa state.

“We are looking forward on how to revive the ailing transport company, the Honorable commissioner hinted.
