Buhari To Commission Karu International Market, Special Schools For The Physically Impaired, Fire Service Headquarters And Other Projects In Nasarawa State

All is now set in Nasarawa state for the commissioning of projects executed by governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari on the 20th January, 2018.

The Nasarawa state Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engr. Muhammed Yahaya Wada, the chairman of the presidential visit stated that President Buhari would commission Karu International Market, Abuja, a project conceived by the first elected governor, Abdullahi Adamu and completed by the incumbent administration.

The President was also expected to commission the state of “the art” Special school for the physically impaired, Lafia neighborhood market all in the state capital.

The commissioner averred that the President would commission the state of “the art” Comprehensive Primary Health Care, a collaborative project of the federal government under the Nigerian State Health Investment Project (NSHIP) constructed in Kwandare community of Lafia North Development Area.

Engr. Yahaya Wada buttressed that the President would commission the completed Fire Service Headquarters situated in the State capital which he said is among the biggest fire service headquarters in the country as well the commissioning of Wamba water works.

The President was also expected to supervise Terminal building of Kwandare Airport, Kwandare-Keffi road ,Karu Side and Services as well to supervise the Tudun Kauri strong water channelization.

Engr.Wada in addition averred that other projects are the expansion and upgrading of power supply in Keffi Army Barrack.

The President is also expected to inspect the 132 sub- station facilitated by the Federal Government as well he was expected to inspect Housing Scheme, inspect twin hostel accommodation conceived by governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura and completed by him within the shortest time.

He affirmed further that the President would flag-off the foundation laying stones of the Federal School of solid mineral.
