Nigeria Air Force Team Visits Proposed Site For Airforce University In Tafawa Balewa In Bauchi State

The Nigeria Airforce has visited the proposed site for Airforce University In Tafawa Balewa In Bauchi State. The leader of the Team, Air commodore Alafin Arinze Akimbe appreciated the good people of Bogoro, Tafawa Balewa, and Dass for a warm reception.

He assured the good people of the three local governments, Bauchi State and Nigeria at large that all modalities have been put in place for the commencement of academic activities in the University. Commodore Arinze commended the efforts of the President Buhari Administration for situating the University in Tafawa Balewa town.

Akimbe, assured people that the  Chief of Airforce will soon visit the university for the commencement of full academic activities.

The Nigeria Airforce team was accompanied to the visit by the executive chairman Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State and his counterparts Mr. Daniel Mazadu Danjuma of Tafawabalewa, Prince Noah Wadata of Dass, and also a member representing Bogoro constituency at Bauchi State House of assembly Mr. Wakili Musa Nakwada.

Mr. Iliya Habila who is the executive chairman of Bogoro spoke on behalf of the three local government Chairmen, thanked Mr. President for such a remarkable gesture that in the history of Nigeria as well as the Northern Part of Nigeria, a University to be established in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of the State, Mr. Habila also appreciated the efforts of the executive secretary, TETFUND prof. Suleiman Ellias Bogoro and the entire TETFUND for executing such a project which will go a long way in putting smiles on the face of the masses.
