Former Wikki Tourist Footballer, Babangida, Organises Competition For Youth In Tafawa-Balewa

The former Wikki Tourist Footballer, Babangida Thomas Num organises a competition for 8 teams of the youth of the Tafawa-Balewa local government area of Bauchi State.

The football competition began yesterday at the Num mini stadium in the Lere south area of Tafawa-Balewa local government area of the state.

Babangida Thomas Num did not stop his football career at Wikki Tourist, but also plays in Al-Itifaq FC Dubai (2019), Verity FC Abuja (2016 – 2018), Abia Warriors (2015), Taraba United (2014), Wikki Tourist FC Bauchi (2013), Shepherd FC Division 2 South Africa (2012), Oduazo Sports Academy South Africa (2012).

Other teams are Chescon FC Abuja (2011), Abuja City Soccer Academy (2010), Juvenile FC NNL (2009), Nassarawa United Feeders Lafia (2008), Pepsi Soccer School (2007), Better Side FC Division 2 Kano (2005), Kufka FC Azare Division 2 (2004).

During Babangida’s Football career, he was awarded Best Winger FCT league in 2017, silver FA cub Abia Warriors 2015, Best Winger Abuja City Soccer Academy 2010, Gold NNPC Competition Juvenile FC 2008, and Best Winger Pepsi Soccer Tournament in 2007.

Before this year’s tournament, he organized Gindiri mega scouting program in 2018, after the competition 2 players were selected and taken to Osmanli Kulubu FC Turkey, Boi scouting 3 players were taken to Balekesirpor FC Turkey, Wagami Scouting program 2 players were taken to Zorya FC in Ukraine,

Others are Zaar Soccer Academy, Nigeria Limited International Scouting Program 7 players selected and taken to different clubs in Uzbekistan including Buka FC and FC Tsementchi, Empire Sports Academy International Soccer Scouting Umuahia 5 players taken to FC Germany, pixel International Mega Scouting Program Delta 3 players taken to FC Belarus.

Babangida is the current member of the Pelican Sporting Organization of Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Spain, and Estonia, a Member Skala Sporting Organization, Germany Member Africamp Sporting Organization, and Turkey.

Also, Member Athletic Darje Soccer Schools, Uzbekistan Member Mega Sport International Organization, Kazakhstan Member Oduazo Sports Organization Pretoria, South Africa.

The organizer of the tournament, Babangida Thomas Num promises all the players who Play well in the tournament will be awarded and doors will be open for him to travel abroad to continue with his football career.
