Imo Commissioner For Transport Moves To Sustain Fights Against Illegal Parks In Owerri

The Honourable Commissioner for Transport, Chief Barr. Rex Anunobi (Sokom) leading his team comprising the Imo State Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Comr. Sam Udeh, MOT Public Vehicle Inspector/Coordinator Imo State Traffic Management Authority (ISTMA), Comr. Frank Uche, on inspection of locations for Public Parks in Owerri capital city.

Recall that Imo State Government through the Ministry of Transport has undertaken to close all illegal parks hence the need to designate Public Parks within the capital city.

The Government is equally mounting signposts to designate one-way roads/streets and Bus Stops to ensure free-flow of traffic in the capital city.

Kudos to the Shared Prosperity Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma for supporting the Ministry of Transport towards achieving the task of restoring sanity and discipline on our roads.
