Bauchi House of Assembly Member, Abducted by Gunmen
Hon.Yusuf Nuhu, who represents Lame Constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
Speaking to Journalists on Tuesday, Mr. Haruna Mohammed, the Police Public Relations Officer, Bauchi State Command, said that the Nuhu was kidnapped by the unknown gunmen on Monday night in Zalau Village.
According to the PPRO; “A Police patrol team pursued the kidnappers into a forest on the boundary between Bauchi and Kaduna States.”
“We have cordoned off the area and we are searching for the kidnappers and their victim. Already, the car has been recovered, and we found eight rounds of ammunition in it”, he said.
