Again Nasarawa Assembly Summons Female Aide To Governor Al-Makura Over Unguarded Utterances

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly as again summoned, Hon Hajara Danyaro, the Special Adviser to Gov. Tanko Al-Makura on Gender and Disability Matters over what the Assembly referred to as unguarded utterances,
The Speaker, Honorable Balarabe Abdullahi directed the clerk of the house to communicate the house resolution to Danyaro to appear on April.11 by 8.30am over an unconfirmed statement that lawmakers had been given their constituency project allowance.
The House frowned on the statement saying is capable of inciting the public against the House, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi gave the order on Tuesday for the appearance of the governor aide.
Mr. James Dangana (APC) Doma South raised the issue of the allegation under the matter of Public interest during the house proceeding in Lafia.
“By this invitation, we want to give the Special Adviser to Gov.Tanko Al-Makura on Gender and Disability Matters, Hajiya Hajara Danyaro fair hearing over her allegation that the House has been receiving constituency allowances.
Hajara Danyaro said,” because of the constituency project allowance the lawmakers are adding wives, we want her to come and explain whether the said allegation against the house which was made by her is true or not,” he said.
James Dangana (APC), chairman house committee on Information alleged that Danyaro while in meeting with women in Lafia stated that members of the state Assembly are now adding wives as a result of the payment of constituency allowances to them.
“I am speaking in my capacity as the House Committee Chairman on Information in which I have been directed by the House to raise the matter in which one Hajiya Hajara Danyaro said that the members of the assembly are now adding wives as a result of alleged payment of constituency allowances by the state government.
“Hajiya Hajara Danyaro, who is the Special Adviser to Gov.Tanko Al-Makura on Gender and Disability Matters, said this in a meeting last week with women in Lafia that members are adding more wives due to payment of constituency allowances by the state government.
“I want to move a motion so that Hajiya Hajara Danyaro should appear before the house tomorrow to explain her statement on the alleged payment of constituency allowances to members,” he said.
Alhaji Ibrahim Bala (APC-Keffi West) seconded the motion for the appearance of the governor aide.
Danyaro , it could be recalled the last Assembly which was PDP controlled House foisted Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura to sack her for making caricature of the lawmakers.
