Breaking News: Another Bauchi Governor’s Aide, Muh’d Jibo, Special Assistant On Students Affairs Resigns

The Special Adviser to Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi on Students Affairs, Muh’d Jibo today resigned his appointment as the Special Assistant to Governor Mohammed Abubakar on Students Affairs.

In a letter dated 12th April, 2017 and addressed to the Governor, through the Secretary to the State Government, he said; “I sincerely wish to convey my gratitude to his Excellency for the opportunity given to me to serve in your administration and indeed the good people of Bauchi State.”

“I hereby wish to convey my voluntary resignation from the services of Bauchi State Government as the Special Assistant to his Excellency the executive Governor of Bauchi on Student Affairs.

According Jibo in his letter he state that his resignation has become very necessary that he has to protect his hard earned reputation and integrity in view of the recent act of blackmail and sabotage of his unalloyed support and commitment to the success of Governor Abubakar’s administration, which he said some persons has seen him as as a threat.

His resignation now makes the third appointee of Governor Mohammed Abubakar to resign from office since the resignation of Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Shehu Barau Ningi.
