Two thousand state delegates are currently assembled in Plateau to vote for People Democratic Party primaries .
Plateau state has 17 aspirants gunning for governorship seat under the platform of People Democratic Party with seven from southern district.
The movement for the creation of South Plateau state out of the present Plateau state in two senatorial districts adopted a consensus candidate from the southern senatorial zone for the PDP governorship primary.
The secretary of group Evangelist Emmanuel Nanle said, after wide range of stake holders from eleven Local Government Areas of the central and southern senatorial they have resolve to adopt a consensus candidate.
He said, the group have reiterate their support for zoning position of Governor to the southern senatorial zone which has been the political practice since 1999 .
Nanle said the aspirants were careful in following the vision and agenda for Plateau and peers review of the candidates with grassroots mobilization and acceptability.
Those who are ready to slot its out with Governor Jonah David Jang anointed candidate Sen. GNS Pwajok are; Kemi Nshe, Amb. Fedelis Tapgun,Dr Haruna Dabin, Nanpon Pyennap ,Sen. Victor Rampyal Lar , John Clark Dabwan , PRof.Sonny Tyoden and others.
It was gathered that most delegates were bribe with one million each with a car .
