Director General, You and I Foundation, Mr. Oritsejolomi Uduaghan on Wednesday described the chairman of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Dr. Ngozi Olejeme as a highly focused individual, saying this humble and dynamic Deltan is a natural successor to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan.
“If the succession is about continuity, keeping up the tempo of sustainable development and lifting the state and the people to the greatest heights, then Deltans have the answer in Dr. Ngozi Olejeme”
In a statement issued in Warri to explain the backing of Olejeme by prominent Nigerians for the governorship of the state, Uduaghan said they opted for Olejeme, owing to her track record as the chairman of NSITF and her philanthropic activities.

“Olejeme has a cordial relationship with Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan. She has vision, moral fortitude, zeal, leadership, commitment and love for all. She enjoys the friendship of the leadership of the party and the confidence of the people and will definitely triumph in 2015” he said.
Continuing, he said “Olejeme is knowledgeable and straight forward. Her goodwill and philanthropy will see her through”
He pledged to work hard to ensure the success of the NSITF boss in the state.
“We are working very hard to deliver the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship ticket and the state to Dr. Olejeme. So we don’t want to be distracted” he said.
Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, a cousin of the current governor of the state
and former special assistant to ex-governor James Ibori and Governor Uduaghan on special duties, argued that the NSITF boss was a detribalized Nigerian who is more acceptable in the country, particularly Delta State than some individuals parading as governorship aspirants.
“Olejeme is a consummate politician, proven administrator, a bridge builder, dogged fighter, grassroots mobiliser and crowd puller”.
He advised the people to embrace and rally round Olejeme for a better Delta State
“This is another opportunity to redefine and redesign our future in a direction that would strengthen the bond of unity, foster the spirit of oneness, enhance development and promote good governance” he added.
