Sule  Flags  Off  4th Phase Of  Relief Support  For  Victims  Of  Natural  Disasters

The Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi  Sule, has continued his commitment to the welfare of vulnerable citizens with the disbursement of the 4th Phase of Relief Support to victims affected by natural disasters across the state.

The presentation ceremony took place at the Board Room of the Nasarawa State Ministry of Women Affairs and Humanitarian Services and was conducted by the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Humanitarian Services, Hon. Barr. Hauwa Samuel-Jugbo.

In her remarks, the Commissioner expressed profound appreciation to Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for his unwavering commitment to the welfare, dignity, and well-being of the people of Nasarawa State, particularly those who suffered losses as a result of floods, windstorms, rainstorms, and other natural disasters.

She stated that the Governor remains dedicated to ensuring that no vulnerable citizen is left behind, noting that the relief funds are aimed at cushioning the hardship experienced by affected households and assisting them in rebuilding their lives.

Hon. Hauwa acknowledged that while the funds may not fully compensate for all that was lost, they represent the government’s compassion and commitment to supporting citizens during difficult times. She therefore urged all beneficiaries to make judicious use of the financial assistance provided.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Alhaji Ibrahim Isa Bashir expressed heartfelt gratitude to Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for the timely intervention. He thanked the Governor for his continued support to victims of natural disasters and prayed for God’s guidance, protection, and success in all his aspirations.
