The Executive Chairman of Wamba Local Government Council, Hon. Ezekiel Musa Jagga, hosted the Wamba Youths Committee for the Relocation and Establishment of Federal Polytechnic, Wamba.
The committee was led by Hon. Rime Ude.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the proposed relocation of Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa which has now been upgraded to Federal University of Mining and Technology to Wamba LGA.
The initiative was driven by the youths of Wamba under the platform of the Wamba Youth Forum.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman commended and appreciated the youths for their commitment, patriotism, and effort in pushing for the relocation.
He encouraged them to remain united, peaceful, and focused, and assured them of the Council’s full support to ensure the actualization of the project.
Hon. Jagga noted that bringing a Federal Institution to Wamba will boost education, create jobs, and improve the socio-economic development of the area.
