He said, “I lack adequate words to express my appreciation to all of you for the prayers and good wishes you lavished to me on my 71st birthday”.

According to him, “I am indeed touched by the kind words coming from my Elders, political associates and children. These messages of solidarity came across the political divide, I am humbled”.

Damishi Sango maintained that, At 71, I have no option than to see all my friends, my children, and my grandchildren growing up in life and I thank God Almighty for given me the grace to witness this great day.

He pointed out that, On a sober reflection, let us bury the hatchet and build a Plateau of our dreams that can be equated to our children to emulate the good gesture of our founding fathers.

I salute the courage of our Youth, Women, and Elders in the State who have remained prayerful, united, and resolute even in the face of intimidation by insecurity, kidnappings, and other evil things that have been a cog in the wheel of progress in the State and country as a whole.

No matter the challenges we are passing through in the country, either with governance, insecurity, or the economy we must look at the future with hope and optimism.

Although we may seem to be in the valley of dry bones, dry bones shall rise again.

On behalf of my family, I appreciate you all, and I sincerely pray that all of you that are less than our age will live to enjoy the Grace of God beyond this age. Let us live in Love.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you very much. I LOVE YOU ALL.
