The Rector of the Isa Mustapha Agwai !,Polytechnic, Lafia Justina Anjiode Kotso has refuted the disappearance of allowances of students of Industrial Training Fund within the last three years of her stay in office.
This followed mixed reactions between her and some former and present students of the State owned Polytechnic,Lafia,A situation that generated tension in the last one week.
The Rector would not provides any convincing backing or documents on whether students of SIWES enjoyed or are enjoying Federal Government goodwill of N20,000 and N15,000 meant to encourage Science based students during her stay in the Polytechnic.
All attempts Universal Reporters to speak to the Head of Industrial Training Fund,Nasarawa State head office proved abortive when Journalists visited the area office situated along Shendam road Lafia for consecutive times.
Staff who pleaded anonymity said the Area Manager is always not available because the target of ITF is in the felid not office.
“Our Oga,That is the D.G is aware of our movement in Nasarawa State,said the Desk officer.
The Desk officer of SIWES in the State Hajiya Rakiya who was on seat declined comment rather directed Journalist to contact the headquarter of ITF for more clarification.
