The Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Jibrin Kamga Bancir has eulogized Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state for his ability to mobilize contractors to the site of 22  roads construction including that of  Kadarko district of Wase Local Government Council.

Bancir who is eyeing the Senatorial District of Plateau South told journalists that, what attracted him to vie for the red chamber position is to bring his wealth of experience to legislate on issues that have direct, positive impact to the lives of our rural populace.

” I consider the  All Progressive Congress (APC) as the only viable platform that I can sell my candidature because is the only political party that has a people-oriented program and also a program that will revamp the country’s industrial sector “, he explained.

According to him,  basically, physical challenges of governance which are lacking among our politicians today is what prompted me, so I want to bring in my dynamic leadership status into law making to transform this democracy because our rules of law require an understanding of the guidelines.

He explained further that his contribution quarterly will be proactive to change in the present face of a political environment that is not there, owing to the fact that majority of their people are not carried along.

The recent defectors are not doing so for the interest of Nigeria, they did the same mass decamping in the 2014 general election but with their mass movement, then to the APC they felt destabilized and uncomfortable and such they still want to remain where they retain their personal position, he noted.

If these decampees are true with their constituents they don’t need to move from one political party to another because anywhere they contest if their people are with them nothing can stop them winning he said.

He, however, commended the anti-graft crusade of President Muhammadu Buhari, as he added that it is what many politicians are afraid of, as they don’t want to go to jail, so those corrupt politicians are seriously fighting back to disrupt the system and bring in confusion.
