Plateau IDPs Beg Fed Govt  For Food ,Security For Them To Return Home

About five thousands (5,000) villages currently taken refused in difference camps in Plateau state are crying and begging the federal, state government to provide food security and security personnel for them to return to their ancestral homes to continue their lives .

The Management Committee Chairman ,Hon Barr Ezekiel Mandyau on Thursday embark on tours of the various camps to identified with the victims of communal land dispute between the natives and Fulani herdsmen in Barkin Ladi ,Bokkos LGAs who still in displaced camps .

His message of peace to the affected the natives and the herders was to solicited their cooperation and for them to shun violence and focusing more on dialogue also avoid mutual suspicion amongst them .

Barr Ezekiel first place of visit was RCC ,Bokkos COCIN central were he addressed over 1,463 living in an uncompleted building which they express dissatisfaction with the hardship their children and wives are going through .

The Bokkos ,RCC camp coordinator ,Mr Peter M. Magwai pleased with the appropriate authority to come to their rescue because since the ugly incident occurred someone in September 2016 they have never see peace .

Our houses ,farmlands have been destroyed completely ,we have 411 men ,376 women and 683 children include 5 orphans and 7  widows and everyone is left to fence for his own family ,he explained.

Magwai said they  have been receiving relief material anywhere ,the only people that came were red cross but they captured our  data ,asking for intervention for them to return home .

 ,The people of Barkin-Ladi have expressed confidence in the governance efforts of Hon. Barrister Ezekiel Mandyau in sustaining the existing peace, security and good governance in the Local Council.

Barkin-Ladi people are satisfied and in support of all the measures taken so far by the Chairman to enhance the security of Barkin-Ladi to maintain its enviable status as one of the most peaceful and secure LGAs in Plateau State.

Hon. Barrister Ezekiel Mandyau is “a God-given Chairman to Barkin-Ladi LGC”. Barkin-Ladi have had Chairmen, but never had anyone who is as humble, as peace-loving, as effective, as compassionate and as concerned with security and welfare of the people as Hon. Mandyau.

Revalidating the trust and confidence; the people of Barkin-Ladi are fervently praying for God’s guidance, wisdom and good health for the Chairman as he strives to enhance peace, security and good governance in the locality.

Hon. Barrister Ezekiel Mandyau is the first Chairman to have a mechinery in motion to organise Christmas Carrol in Barkin-Ladi tagged “the first edition”. This action has truly put smiles on the faces of people in Barkin-Ladi. God bless the leader and grant him more wisdom as he pilot Barkin-Ladi back to it’s premier place of dignity.
