At least no fewer than 238 C of OS and 815 R of O have so far been disbursed to the private owners by the ministry for Land ,Survey and Town Planning this year.
The Commissioner of Lands, Survey and Town Planning, Yakubu Dati presented Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) to all the beneficiaries with a called on investors to take advantage and key into policy of Gov Lalong administration in building confidence in leadership .
The Commissioner ,Hon Datti stated this his office in Jos, saying Lalong régime is restoring confidence and guaranteeing access to land titles for the citizens.
He said Governor Lalong is fast tracking the ways of promoting business , following his commitment to provide layouts for Agriculture, Tourism Mining and industries.
Dati added the Ministry has keyed into the Plateau State Development plan and had embarked on reorientation and human capital development which is gradually eradicating past sharp practices, unnecessary bottlenecks, and effective and efficient land documentation through the application of technology.
He urged members of the public and organisations to ensure they’re up to date with their payments as the Ministry will soon embark prosecute defaulters. The occassion was rounded up with the presentation
He further stated that the government has simplified land documentation technology in the PLAGIS, whereby applicants will their documentation within 21 days.
