Following the pronouncement of Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule to ensure the security of lives and property in the state has absorbed 250 Personnel of the Nasarawa State Youth Empowerment Scheme (NAYES) into Community Policing.
The General Manager of NAYES, Abdullahi Labaran Maina gave the hint during an exclusive interview recently, Maina confirmed that a total of 250 men of NAYES are currently undergoing rigorous training in Wanunu in Benue State.
He further maintained that the state government would take advantage of NAYES by converting 100 of it Perssonel to augment the insufficient manpower in the Vehicle Inspection unit popularly known as Vehicle Inspection Officer’s ( VIO).
Maina explained that 200 Perssonel of NAYES would be deployed to Fire Service, While fielding question over the rising waves of kidnapping, raping and banditry, he reiterated that secret NAYES are working hand in hand by giving vital information to the sister agencies.
Labaran appealed to the people of the state to be vigilant by reporting all suspicious element to security operatives.
He called on the general public to support the incumbent administration of Engineer Abdullahi Sule whose mainstay was to build a solid fortress for all and sundry.
