NSUBEB Chair Appoints Ozegya As Acting Director Of Planning, Research And Statistics

The Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB), Dr. Kassim Muhammad Kassim, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Mohammed Yusuf Ozegya as Acting Director, Department of Planning, Research and Statistics.

The appointment follows the demise of the substantive Director, late Mrs. Jerusa Dennis Yakubu, PhD, who was buried last week in Lafia.

Dr. Kassim explained that the decision was informed by the critical and time-sensitive responsibilities attached to the department, which requires immediate leadership to ensure seamless continuity.

Until his elevation, Ozegya served as Deputy Director in the Board.

While congratulating him on the new assignment, the NSUBEB Chairman charged him to uphold transparency, accountability, and diligence in the discharge of his duties
