Princess Dr. Margaret Elayo, the Commissioner Ministry of Environment, Solid Minerals and Mining in Nasarawa State, brought smiles to the faces of 200 vulnerable households in the Keana Local Government Area.

This generous act took place on Friday, reflecting her unwavering commitment to uplifting the vulnerable households and renewing their sense of belonging within the community.

As the saying goes, “charity begins at home,” and Dr. Elayo, a philanthropist turned politician, has shown that her humanitarian values remain at the forefront of her work.

This year’s birthday celebration for Dr. Elayo transformed into a platform for community connection, as she chose to support those at the bottom of the financial pyramid rather than indulge in traditional festivities.

Beneficiaries, ranging from children to adults, expressed their gratitude for her generosity, likening her spirit to that of her late father, the esteemed Osana of Keana, His Royal Highness Senator Emmanuel Elayo of blessed memory.

During the feeding program, the atmosphere was filled with happiness, laughter, and prayers from both Muslim and Christian, celebrating the true essence of community and connection that Dr. Elayo embodies.
