Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, has commissioned an 8km road bypass and named it after the late Deputy Governor, Damishe Luka Barau, who died recently
The Governor promised to add lighting to the bypass, which he said has decongested Akwanga town, as he added that the lighting would be in fulfillment of the pleas made by Chun Mada, Gamu Yari.
The Governor, however, pleaded with the Managing Director of the Nasarawa State Urban Development Board (NUDB) to accept the change of the name of the new bypass constructed and commissioned by him on the 26th of September, 2027.
The Oga of Bahaus, Nabis Hussain, contacted me and said we should construct the road to a high grade, and the difference is not up to 1bn, and I gave him the go-ahead to do it according to standard.
I Will go back down memory lane: after I had a call that one man said he was the Deputy Governor of my state was stopped at the security post, I rushed and come down from my office, when I saw him we exchange pleasantries, In short, the meeting was just a 5 minutes meeting, and he told about his Governorship ambition come 2015, He said he needed my support”.
The NUDB MD, Engineer Wada Yahaya, said Bahaus Global has done a formidable work.
