Neighbourhood Market In Akwanga To Gulp N349. 7 Million

Money to the tune of N349.7M was earmarked for the construction of a befitting neighborhood market in Akwanga Local Government Council by Governor Sule-led administration.

 

He disclosed this during the flagging off of the project marking his two years in office, The Governor said the market if completed would boost the socio-economic activities of the people of the area and for the overall development of the state.

 

He buttressed that the construction of the market would also improve the standard of living of the people of the area be extended to the State.

 

“The neighborhood market consists of 52 lock-up shops, 54 open market stores, 26 warehouses, administrative block, security post, public toilet, a restaurant amongst others.

 

Engineer Abdullahi Sule is further explained that the upgrade of markets in the state is part of his administration’s commitment to enhancing socio-economic activities of the State, he declared.

 

The Governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to continue to provide infrastructure development across the state.

 

Appreciating the people of the area and the state at large for supporting his administration to succeed.

 

The Governor has also flagged off the construction of a 300 capacity event center and remodeling of Government Lodge Akwanga

 

Architect Shehu Tukur, Principal partner, Canoni Associates firm supervising the projects has assured of exhibiting quality jobs.

 

He stated that the projects would be completed at the end of the year, while the Council Chairman Mr. Samuel Meshi appreciated Gov. Sule for his gigantic developmental strides across the state.

 

Calling on the people of the area and the state to continue to give their maximum support to the Governor to succeed in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
