4 Out of 34 Communities in Obi Are Not Connected To The National Grid

The people of Obi Local Government have appealed to Governor Abdullahi Sule to consider more Communities are connected to the national grid.

 

He said connecting more Communities to the national grid could boost the economic activities of the locality.

 

These are the views of Obi stakeholders during an interactive session of the “Meet the people tour” in commemoration of Engineer Abdullahi Sule’s two years in office.

 

An elder stateman, Elayas Adokwe quoted the holy book “Ecclesiastics 3:1 where he said, “There is time for everything”.

 

He appealed to the Governor to consider Agwatashi-Assakio road, saying the road would open a window of opportunity for the commoners and the state.

 

Bar. Gabriel Aka’aka during an interactive session added that the construction of the Agwatashi-Jangwa road would assist in the exploration of coal deposits.

 

State Governor Engineer Abdullahi Sule said his administration would do every possible best to execute more dividend of democracy to the populace.

 

Former Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly, Hon. Elisha Agwadu appreciates the Governor for the construction of Agwade-Shupe-Atabula road, appealing to the Governor to consider NTA and other Migili communities linking Doma-Agyaragu road.

 

While Rahmatu Abubakar urged the Governor to build Women Development Centre where women would be trained on skills.
