Nasarawa State NUJ Condole Families That Lost 4 Members At This Year’s Eggon Carnival

The Nasarawa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) extends heartfelt condolences to the Eggon Nation on the tragic loss of four people in a devastating accident at the 2025 Eggon carnival involving three trucks, which rammed into a procession, leaving families and loved ones in mourning.

The union has also sent condolences to the Aren Eggon, Ahmed Ubangari-Alaku, paramount ruler of the Eggon Nation, the State Government, Nassarawa-Eggon Local Government, as well as the families of the deceased.

The union also prayed for the divine and speedy healing of those who sustained injuries during the accident.

The statement was signed by the State Secretary of the Union Sunday John, and made available to it’s members.
