Lamido Condole Jigawa Correspondent Chapel Members

The Peoples’ Democratic Party, (PDP) senatorial candidate in the 2019 elections, Dr. Mustapha Sule Lamido has described the death of the SUN Newspaper reporter in Jigawa State, Malam Ahmed Abubakar as a personal loss.

 

The PDP chieftain made the disclosure during a condolence visit to the Secretariat of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) in the state capital, said, Ahmed was an epitome of excellence and humility.

 

The late Ahmed Abubakar was also the chairman of the state’s (Jigawa) correspondent’s chapel who passed last Wednesday after a protracted illness

 

Alhaji Mustapha Sule also condoled the family, members of the correspondent’s chapel, Nigerian Union of Journalists, and the entire people of Jigawa state adding that “I received the sudden death of late Ahmed Abubakar as shocking whom I considered as a part of our family”.

 

According to him, “Words have failed me do describe the kind of feelings that I feel inside me because of the kind of relationship that exists between us and the chairman, but we take solace in the fact that from Allah have we come and to Him, we shall return  back.”

 

He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased the best place in Janatul Fridaus and grant the immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
