Kanke PDP Crisis: Kanke  LGA PDP Executives, Two Of Its Wards Tenures To Elapse By September 17, 2021, Kanke  LGA PDP Tells State Party Chapter

The people of Kanke people Democratic Party ,PDP , has raised an alarm warning the State chapter that their tenure of office would expired in 2021 owning to the miscarriage of wards Congresses held behind scheduled .

 

The two wards expressed lacked of confidence in the conduct of the state Congresses which sidelined them during the primaries that produced the present exco that their tenure expired this week

We are calling on the state chapter to review the Congress policy and see the what really happened to the two wards

Find below the above subject matter.

 

(1) That the Kanke PDP LG Congresses and two of its wards of Ampang East and Dawaki could not hold congresses in 2016,

This was because of an uproar which took place during the scheduled congresses.

 

(2) That the congresses were rescheduled on September 27, 2017. And was conducted peacefully and new Exco emerged for the remaining two wards of Ampang East Ward and Dawaki Ward. And that of the LG Exco.

 

(3) That the Elected LG Exco and the two wards were sworn in same day of September 27, 2017.

(4)Base on the constitution of PDP 2017 as amended, Section 47(1) which spells that the Tenure of any Elected Executive of PDP at all levels are to run for a Tenure of 4yrs.

 

(5) In respect to Section 47(1) of PDP constitution 2017 as amended.

The Elected Chairman Hon. Dauda Waptu and his Executive council members Tenure will elapse by September 27, 2021.

 

NOTE: The General Public are therefore advised to in their own interest , strictly adhered to the above and disregard any purported congresses which was rumoured to have held recently and the illegal purported swearing in of some persons claiming to be elected EXCO of Kanke PDP .

 

We advise Strongly that, if the said individuals are truly PDP members and are conversant with the tenets, rules and constitutional regulations of the PDP ,they should wait until 2021.

 

I want to appeal to the General public and our dear party men and women in kanke LGA not to be deterred nor misled by desperate individuals who are bend on destroying PDP in Kanke, so as not to fall prey of this individuals and their misdeeds.

 

We will remain resolute in defending the PDP constitution and its members, any day, anytime.

 

Long live our Great party ,the PDP .
