Plateau Wards Congresses Tear PDP  Apart In  Langtang North LGA, “As Chairman Kumzhi Rejects Handwritten Results

There was Drama in Langtang North Local Government Council of Plateau State as the delegates in 20 State Wards were left stranded with the disappearance of the committee and hijacked by some officials in government.

The  Transition Implementation Committee (ITC) Chairman of Langtang North Local Government Council (LGC) who is the  Leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Godwin Nanmwa Kumzhi, has disclosed that since he was given the list of those who are coming to conduct the scheduled exercise from Wase LGA.

According to him, he kept waiting for the team for several hours and monitoring them to ascertain where they were coming from but Mr. Nansel was feeding him information that they were coming.

The following are those that the State Secretariat of PDP sent to Langtang North LGA for the exercise, Hon. Haruna Garba, Alh. Mustapha Galadima , Comdr. Ahmed but their sudden disappearance left many unanswered questions.

It’s gathered that all the prospective delegates for the conduct of ward Congress in Langtang North became stranded and they don’t even know what was happening.

Hon .Nanmwa Kumzhi lamented how Mr Black Ventim manipulated the exercise by constantly misleading him with unfounded information.

Due to the crisis rocking the leadership of PDP in Plateau State, the State Chapter commenced the proper ward Congresses which were scheduled for Saturday’s PDP Statewide that failed woefully to hold in Langtang North LGA”.

Hon . Kumzhi stressed that there were no Congress holds across the 20 wards in Langtang accusing Mr. Black Ventim and his cohorts of manipulating the whole game and urging the party’s leadership not to accept any concocted results and fake story to the contrary.

According to Kumzhi, Hon. Haruna Garba,Alh. Mustapha Galadima  Comdr. Ahmed was first sighted at Federal Government Girls College Langtang before their sudden disappearance to an unknown destination.

He stated that, as the leader of the party some individuals within the Langtang North chapter of the PDP frustrated the congress and hijacked the voting which was later suspended due to the absence of the Committee.

“It will be shameful if any delegates’ list and elected people come out of Yesterday Saturday’s exercise in Langtang North when result sheets and other materials were not put to legal use as expected.

Hon.Kumzhi appealed to the state Chapter of PDP to disregard the purported stakeholder’s fake wards Congress coming from Langtang North that no such thing happened.

We must be bold enough to tell ourselves that the delegates assembled to kick start the screening exercise but none of them sighted where the ballot papers or election materials are kept for the exercise.

“He pointed out that the absence of the ballot papers threw the delegates into serious protest that security agencies had to intervene to foil the breakdown of law and order.

As the Party leader, who represents Langtang North, he is saying that the majority of the PDP Party faithful in the Local Government had no faith in the present happenings “because it has been compromised’’.

Therefore, it is essential to address the general public and bring to their notice that their mandate enshrined in the constitution has been breached so our people have the right to decide whether to vote or to go for a consensus candidate.

´´We didn’t trust any second panel led outside the lists of those sent to organize and conduct free and fair congress but seeing night collection of unknown lists with self-acclaim to everyone, we have agreed to a decision to reject any illegal congress.

´´We are communicating with the Government and the State leadership of the PDP to reject any illegal congress that results are handwritten in the middle of the night, we urge govt to bring an independent panel that constitutes credible politicians to come and conduct PDP congress in Langtang North Local Government Area.
