Jigawa State government in collaboration with Family Homes Company Limited under the supervision of the central bank plans to build 520 housing units in the state.
The housing projects which will be funded by the federal government through the CBN will be done in the state capital under the Jigawa State Housing Scheme and will be completed by next year.
The commissioner of Jigawa State Ministry Of Lands and Housing Dr. Sagir Muhammed has confirmed the story, adding that the 520 housing units will comprise of the one-bedroom unit, two bedrooms, and three-bed rooms flats.
He further said that after the completion of the project, the houses will be sold to civil servants working in the state under the social housing scheme that is a low-cost housing unit.
The funding of the project is directly from the Central Bank to the Jigawa state government and Jigawa State Housing Authority to manage the projects up to the completing period
He called on interested civil servants working in the state to indicate their interest by applying through the Jigawa State Housing Authority.
