Hon Sale Hassan Charge Nigerians To Respect  Sanctity Of Lives Over Plateau Killings

A former member of the National Assembly, for Jos North Bassa Federal Constituency in the 5th republic, Hon. Shehu Sale Hassan, presently Adviser to the Speaker, National Assembly on Sustainable Development Goals, has condemned in strong terms the unfortunate incident that occurred in Jos on Saturday the 14th August 2021, with the  26 commuters confirmed killed.

 

Hassan expressed shock over the brutal murder of innocent Nigerians where he personally attended the burial, with many others injured along Rukuba road.

 

Hon. Hassän said he is saddened and deeply pained by the ugly incident which is capable of worsening the volatile security situation in Plateau State in particular and Nigeria in general.

 

The Former lawmaker urges security to synergized by curtailing the insecurity bedeviling the state and also apprehend the perpetrators of this dastardly act and bring them to justice to serve as a deterrent to others and those with a plan in the near future.

 

He called on the people of Jos North and Bassa  Federal constituency to continue living in peace as they promote peaceful coexistence and harmony with one another and allow for development to thrive.

 

Saleh Hassän further pleaded with rumor peddlers and Youths pasting ugly images or writing inciting statements on the social media capable of igniting tension to please in the interest of peace and development desist from doing so.

 

Hon. Shehu Sale Hassän appealed to the people of Jos North /Bassa to embrace oneness and demonstrate love to each other’s as they were known for over the years.

 

He charged the residents of Plateau state to equally stay at home and respect the constituted authority, pending the lifting of the curfew.

 

Hon Hassan added that the state government under the leadership of His Excellency, Barrister Simon Bako Lalong is not living any stone unturned at the same time doing everything humanly possible to restore law and order as well as punish offenders.

 

He admonished Nigerians to bear in mind that, nobody would be spared if the state and nation are plunged into anarchy, chaos, or lawlessness.

 

We pray for the souls of those that are killed eternal lives in the hereafter and equally sympathize with their families.
