How Unknown Gunmen Abducted Councilor, Nursing Mother In Nasarawa State

It was a black Tuesday for the family of late Abdullahi  Okawu  AKA  Alhaji Mai Film, whose elderly Son who is a  Councillor Sabon Gari electoral ward of Doma Local Government was whisked away by unknown Gunmen to a far destination.

The current Councilor who was in the midst of friends and were having a good time enjoying themselves on the outskirts of the Community met his Waterloo when the Gunmen stormed the unoccupied building at the late hours of 8:00 to 8:30 pm.

An eyewitness hinted that the Councilor who had over N100,000 cash was going to mobilize women that would help him to harvest his watermelon while the other victims were robbed of their hard-earned money ranging from N9,000, N8,000 and below.

It was gathered that all other victims including the rightful owner of the unoccupied building instantly regained their freedom, an eyewitness averred that the gunmen were up to ten handling sophisticated weapons.

According to him “We want our victim to give us fuel and after he does that we will set him free, some friends and relatives of the abducted Councilor narrated that the kidnappers demanded for N50, 000,000M.

“They even threatened to cause havoc to their victim if family members failed to meet up to their demand”.

It was reliably gathered that a breastfeeding mother and one other, who were wives to a customs officer were abducted too.

As of press time, The Police Public Relations Officer, Nasarawa State command, ASP. Ramhan Nansel could not be reached for comment on the matter.
