Black Friday In Nasarawa As Gunmen Kidnap 6 Pupils In Primary School          

The people of Al-waza community of Doma Local Government in the early hours of nine o’clock on Friday woke up to an incident of unknown gunmen who invaded Pilot Primary School, Al-waza and abducted under-age pupils.

A staff who escaped by the whisker asserted that on sighting outside the school compound he saw strangers dressing in long garments and face mask storm the school.

On sighting them, I entered the headmaster’s office and escaped through the window.

He said no casualties were recorded but they went away with six pupils, that conveying two kids each on three motorcycles.

A government official who did not want his name on print said the village head went after the kidnappers on his Bajaj motorcycle.

He said the village head vowed to rescue the five abducted children, saying one of the underage victims regains freedom as the kidnappers abandoned him mid-way.
