How Sen. Dariye Was Sacrificed To Portray The Govt As  Fighting Corruption -Macham

A Youth activist in Plateau State Emmanuel Macham has described Sen Joshua Dariye’s imprisonment as a direct provocation to the sensibility of the good People of Plateau State, who have suffered several prosecutions in our country since independence on very flimsy excuses.

Macham made this known in a press statement in Jos , condemning the imprisonment of stakeholders by APC government.

He also described the presidential pardon as a systematic ploy by the ruling party and Government to use the respected leaders’ good image and acceptability in laundering the dilapidated and shrinking ruling party which Nigerians have vehemently and outrightly rejected

I sincerely extend my deepest appreciation to God, the people of Plateau State and our leader who stood strong in faith and in high spirit throughout the period of this unjustified persecution.

Distinguish  Sen Dariye in the midst of high-level connivance remains an unshakable force in the political space, philanthropist, and community leader during the trying moments that lasted for years, he has written his name in the libraries and archives of Nigeria as a leader who stood and took the cross of several Plateaunians.

I challenge Distinguish Senator Joshua Dariye to immediately reconsider his membership of the ruling party to a more acceptable party in an effort to reposition Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole. Macham”said”.
