Rabiu Omaku

Nasarawa state governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Labaran Maku says the government of Nasarawa state is not fair to its indigenes in the provision of basic needs of livelihood with the chunk amount of money accrued to the state from the Federation account.

He stated this while addressing party members at Amikielo Hotel in Lafia, the Former Deputy Governor of the state said civil servants and the non-working class deserve than what is obtainable in the state.

Maku said the present administration under Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura did not embark on the construction of a single road project linking Local Government headquarters barely seven years in office.

“If Al-Makura cited N5billion projects in each of the thirteen Local Government Areas the state would still has enough money to focus on the development of the state capital.

Labaran Maku says the All Progressive Grand Alliance is the only party that would address the surmountable challenges facing the state.

He added that the N390 billion excludes the N200 million collected monthly as security vote from the inception of the APC administration.

APGA governorship candidate said he would create jobs through the establishment of poultry farm.

“We will engage our youth with the money generated from security vote by creating job opportunity “.

He also said the colossal amount realized from FAAC was diverted to develop Kwandare community of Lafia North Development Area alone.
