Ex-Senator Al-Makura Is The Only Governor That Did Physical Hand Over-Gov Sule Tells Gwadeca

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has unraveled that the immediate past Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura is the only Governor then that did a physical handing over to his successor.

He stated this when members of Gwadeca nation paid him a courtesy visit at the seat of power at the weekend.

Engineer Sule further explained that the former Governor took him around project sites to see things for himself.

According to Governor Sule, “my history cannot be completed without being the Governor of Nasarawa State”.

The State Governor appreciates Gwadeca nation for being firm to support him at all times, saying the solidarity visit by Gwandara Social-Cultural Association would not be taken for granted.

“I never knew that Gwadeca has up to 13 monarchs “He added.

The National President of Gwadeca and present, Commissioner of Education, Hon.John Mamman in his remarks, described Engineer Abdullahi Sule as the Governor of Nasarawa State, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.

He affirmed that Gwadeca worldwide is in Government House to shower encomium on his resounding Victory at the Supreme Court.

“We are here today to celebrate your recent victory in the apex court, as usual, stood solidly behind and we are still with you from 2019 to 2027”.

Some of the achievements of Governor Sule include the upgrading of Mararaban Angiro-Arusu-Bassa road, also the construction of Ara -Nasarawa,Garaku-Kwandare.

“Not only that. Your Excellency, your pledge to appoint Gwandara nation position of Permanent Secretary is a promise fulfilled” Said the National President of Gwadeca.

The former Chairman of the ruling APC in the State said the road leading to his country home of Dari , which was formally a one-hour Journey is 12 12-minute drive from Garaku.

John Mamman also commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for tackling the full erosion site in Ara community, Adding the erosion site succeeded in dividing the community due to its high impact.

In the area of security urged people of the State to join hands with Governor Abdullahi Sule to ensure the security of lives and properties.

The Emir of Karshi and Grand Patron of Gwadeca, Professor Muhammed Sani Bako ll, Thanked the Governor for the opportunity to pay him a courtesy visit.

The paramount ruler assured the Governor to support his administration, adding that the Governor had done excellent work in his first tenure 

“Your Excellency, you have done well, but we the Gwadeca nation are like Oliver Twist, We needed a higher institution in Gwandara town not minding the location”.

Those in the courtesy call include 13 traditional rulers from Gwandara nation, The National President of Gwadeca, Hon. John Mamman, Bar.Mamman Alakayi,Member Federal Character Commission,Bar Ayuba Wandai,Chairman Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission.

Other are Musa Dangana, Chairman State Civil Service Commission,Hon.Muhammed Musa Dan’azumi, Executive Chairman, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, and among other dignitaries.
