A statement by the Information officer of the Board, Alhaji Muhammad Sani Yunusa, said the action is causing unnecessary delays in the operations of the board with regard to the successful conduct of the forthcoming Hajj.

According to the statement, over one hundred women out of the two thousand, eight hundred and forty two intending pilgrims who are to perform this year’s pilgrimage from the state, were yet to show up for the screening.

Meanwhile, the board in the statement has assured the intending pilgrims that it had concluded all necessary preparations for the successful conduct of this year’s this year Hajj exercise.

The statement called on the intending pilgrims to cooperate with the board in order to achieve the desired objective.
