Governor of Nasarawa State Engineer Abdullahi Sule in a bid to rejuvenate the dearth of State-Owned transport company popularly known as “Nasarawa On The Move” has launched flirts of 18 seater compressed gas automobile Known as “Nasarawa Luxury Ride (NLR).
The Nasarawa State Government under the purposeful leadership of His Excellency, Engineer Abdullahi . Sule has added another feather to his momentous achievements, marking a revolution in the transport sub-sector of the State.
The introduction of the new buses is no doubt, a conscious effort and a milestone by the current administration of Engineer Sule’s administration towards alleviating the current economic hardship faced by the citizens of the State with the unstable transport fare due to the skyrocketing pump price of petroleum and the removal of fuel subsidy.
Hon. Peter Ahemba, Senior Special Assistant (Public Affairs) to Governor Abdullahi Sule has revealed this in a press statement made available to Journalists.
He said the aim of launching the new bus was to enhance efficiency and proper management of the new buses, the State Government has engaged the services of Mash, a renowned transportation company to achieve a set target.
The new buses are designed to meet the transportation needs of residents of Nasarawa State. The buses boast advanced technology, ergonomic interiors, and superior fuel efficiency, making them an ideal choice for both short and long-distance journeys.
The vehicles are also equipped with facilities to cater to the needs of elderly passengers, people with disabilities, and families traveling with little children, thus ensuring inclusivity across all segments of society and overall comfort.
The initiative is part of the Government’s commitment to enhancing the transportation infrastructure and services in the State, to improve the daily lives of residents and promote sustainable mobility options.
While emphasizing that this development marks the beginning of a new era of improved connectivity and accessibility within the state, we make bold to say that residents and visitors of Nasarawa State now have the opportunity to enjoy an enhanced commuting experience, with subsidized fares, reduced travel times, increased comfort, and improved reliability.
The new buses have formally been launched by the State Governor at a ceremony held at the Yahaya Sabo Bus Terminal, Lafia. The Governor was represented at the event by the State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Alhaji Adamu Gosho.
Given the foregoing, we call on citizens to embrace this transformation and support the new public transportation system for the good of all and sundry. Indeed, the people’s Governor, Engrineer. Abdullahi Sule is Exceeding all Expectations.
