The former Speaker Jigawa State House Of Assembly Hon, Ilitasu Said Dundubus Is Dead. The former Speaker was aged 55. He died at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Shika Zaria after a protracted illness.
Dundubus headed Jigawa Assembly as Speaker from 1999-2003, he was very powerful during his tenure as Speaker, as his principles and ideology led to his impeachment after he declared former governor Saminu Turaki wanted and asked him to return back to the state after he was absent for over two months or faced impeachment.
He served as council’s secretary of Dutse municipal, special Adviser to the governor; he also contested for the State House of Assembly seat in the 2019 general elections.
