Chairman Kokona L.G Commends Gov Sule In Addressing Farmers/Herders Clash

The Executive Chairman of Kokona Local Government, Hon. Awal Adamu has commended the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for employing wisdom and diplomacy in addressing the farmers/herders clash that could have consumed lives and properties in the Tatara community of Kokona Local Government.

He disclosed this on the eve of the Sallah celebration at his abode in Garaku, The headquarters of Kokona on Thursday.

He appreciates the Governor for the bold steps taken in tackling the ugly situation, calling on the warring Mada/Fulani herders to remain calm and resolute.

The Chairman described peace as a catalyst for nation-building, adding that government will not take it lightly with people fomenting trouble.

Hon. Awal Adamu says stiffer penalties await people with bad intentions to leave the land of Kokona in the interest of their safety or risk arrest by security personnel.

The Chairman sued for peaceful co-existence. amongst the different nationalities and infections.
