Farmers/Herders Skirmishes: Doma Council Boss Sues For  Tolerance

The Executive Chairman of Doma Local Government, Arc. Ahmed Sarki Usman has sued for tolerance as a panacea for peaceful co-existence.

The Chief Security officer of the Local Government gave the hint during an exclusive interview with Universal Reporters Online at the palace of the Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Oga when illustrious sons and daughters of the Doma community paid him a Sallah homage.

Arc.Usman appealed to farmers not to take the law into their own hands instead should follow the right channel to settle their grievances with the Fulani to avert clashes.

“We should and must be tolerant and accommodative to all, He attributed the remarkable feat recorded to the adoption of the Conflict and Resolution Mechanism of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

“If you can be just to me, you will be able to see what we are doing to ensure peaceful co-existence amongst our people in Doma Local Government “.

The Chairman commended the State Governor for acting swiftly on the rising wave of kidnapping and armed robbery in the Ekye Development Area.

Arc. Ahmed Usman Sarki, however, applauded the Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police for nipping the increasing cases of criminality in the bud.

Describing peace and tolerance of one another as a panacea for the rapid and prudent development of every nation.

Urging the people of Doma Local Government to remain resolute and firm at all times.

On the current economic crunch, The Chairman prayed to God Almighty to proffer solutions to the situation.
