The Former Councilor representing Jenta Adamu Ward of Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau State , Hon .Yakubu Timzing Itumu has called on the incoming government of Barr.Caleb Mutfwang to work together with traditional, community leaders and religious bodies to solve issues of farmers /herders crises in the state .
Timzing Itumu disclosed this during the 27th birthday anniversary held at the polo club, on Saturday in Jos North LGA.
He said , the present government must come together and work with all the security agencies, traditional institutions, community leaders, and religious bodies to achieve total peace.
Itumu advised the youths to shun any sentiment and anything versus capable of destroying their future endeavor, The youth should see themselves as the vanguard of transformation and change not as agents of destruction.
According to him ,”if we can’t come together and work together as one family we can’t achieve meaningful development and some miscreants would take advantage to infiltrate us and wreak havoc on our vulnerable communities.
Yakubu Timzing Itumu reiterated that the ongoing rumors peddled by the opposition won’t affect the victory of PDP in Plateau because the Exco had the first election in which the outcome was challenge by Hon Bitrus Kaze but a fresh Congress was conducted and the same exco emerged and Kaze congratulated them.
He explained further that when Kaze lost the primary he embrace Chris Hassan so we are still united and strong in Plateau state.
In the last congress that was held the PDP made use of 3 delegates each from the wards so to me we don’t have an issue associated with Exco.
Itumu pointed out that in fighting insecurity in Plateau state, Governor-elect Mutfwang is a former Chairman of Mangu LGA and he knows the security problem by forming grassroots network security resolve them .
He called on the Caleb Mutfwang to create job opportunities for the youths and address challenges of food security in agriculture by employing technocrats for food sufficiency.
