The Chief Executive Officer, CEO, African Independent Television, AIT , High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, who is also the Chairman, Technical Committeee for Abubakar Atiku Presidential Project, has declared that Atiku if voted into power in 2023, would vacate office after only one term of four (4) years to pave the way for Nigeria President of South-East extraction.
The AIT Boss, Dokpesi, made the above assertion on Tuesday, Jan.25th 2022 during his visit to the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, at the Owerri/Okigwe Road Party Secretariat in Owerri, Imo State.
Fielding questions from newsmen after consulting with the leadership of the Imo PDP in Owerri, Dokpesi said the former Vice President , Atiku Abubakar, “remains the shortest way” to actualising the Nigeria President of Igbo Extraction.
He therefore harped on the supports of Ndi-Igbo for Atiku whom according to Dokpesi said was coming to, and had the capacity to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, and rescue Nigeria from total collapse.
” Atiku is the surest bet; he is the shortest cut to a South-East Presidency. The truth is that he will be about 80 years then. We only need him to rescue Nigeria now;
” We are confronted with heavy challenges as a nation. Once we lay the foundation for restructuring and for pushing Nigeria forward, then he will exit. He is not coming because he is hungry but he has an agenda, and the agenda is Nigeria.”
Dokpesi vowed to go naked and after one tenure Atiku failed to cede power to the South East;
” We are in a grave situation in Nigeria. We need to unite. We need to take power from these impostors that have ceased power and ran Nigeria aground;
” If I’m alive till then I will go naked in one-man march if South East is not given the presidency. I will put my life on the line. I will never be silent;
” It’s a matter of timing. Those clamouring for the Southern presidency now are APC governors and they are doing so for selfish reasons. Buhari has never respected the equity provision in our constitution”, Dokpesi submitted.
Asked why he felt the South East had to wait until the completion of proposed Atiku’s one tenure before going for the presidency? Dokpesi echoed that Atiku has the capacity and ability to win any election in Nigeria.
Speaking on behalf of the leadership of Imo PDP, the State Party Chairman, Chief Engr.Charles Ugwu, expressed satisfaction with the visit of Atiku who was ably represented by his 2023 Presidential Campaign (Project) Technical Committee Chairman, Chief Raymond Dokpesi.
Ugwu while speaking, lauded the presidential ambition of Atiku, added that Imo PDP and Imolites in general shall drum their unalloyed support at the appropriate time.
Some of critical stakeholders and leaders of Imo PDP present includes: Hon.Nze Law Biadua, Nze Ray Emeana, Chief Richmond Osuji, Comr. GOC Nwadike, Mazi Emenike Nmerenini, and so many capacity members of PDP in Imo State, who collectively vowed to roll out their supports to the 2023 Atiku’s Presidential aspiration.
