Middle-Belt group Calls On Federal Govt To Declare Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association Of Nigeria A Terrorist Organization

Yakubu Busari

The Middle-Belt Forum Secretary-General, Dr. Dankadarko Alaku has called on the federal government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari to declare the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association a terrorist organization with the rampaging activities of kidnappings, banditry in some parts of the country.

Speaking in an interview on the rate of the daily business of kidnappings, killing of innocent Nigerians in Jos , Alaku expressed fear that Nigeria is on the verge of collapse if urgent steps is not taken to curtail this social menace in the society where human beings are massacred in their home without any provocation .

He explained that, “You see everybody particularly APC candidates are going around looking for Mr. President blessing from him, if you’re up to 70 years and above you should retire from active politics and provide advice to the younger ones.

Alaku frowned that the worst scenario in Nigeria is that some politicians are reducing the age of births to remain relevant in the political affairs of this country.

He talked about the insecurity between the Irigwe speaking natives and the Fulani intruders as quite regrettable that they all agreed to sign for peace pact but they didn’t keep to it because the peace agreement they entered is no more working as they hate each other or somebody is inciting.

However, Alaku noted that two traditional rulers were recently kidnapped by unknown gunmen, adding that  this style of kidnappings didn’t take place during Former President Goodluck Jonathan regime but now with the rate of kidnappings and crime in the country is gradually turning the country into a failed state .

He maintained that there is no single day that would pass without someone hearing about the kidnapping of someone or killing of an innocent Nigerian, what surprised us most is that they link it to unknown gunmen. We use to hear this from afar, not in Nigeria but now the killing and kidnappings are at our doorstep.

Dankadarko added that in the political circles, we are suggesting that presidency should be rotated for the South, East, middle-Belt and Northern region especially if someone from south East emerge his vice President should go to the Middle Belt .
