Today marked a turning point for Adamawa state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that brought together all the stakeholders who deliberated on how to support all PDP candidates in the forth coming general election.
For the first time governor James Ngilari presided over a meeting of such since his inception as the governor of the state with most of the aggrieved members of the party in attendance.
Governor Ngilari while addressing the gathering pledged his inflicting support for all the party’s candidates including the governorship candidate.
According to him “l have never supported any other governorship candidate except Nuhu Ribadu, I have never worked for anybody and will never work for anybody but for Ribadu “
Also speaking, the state chairman of the party, party chief Joel Madaki said “we disagree to agree, we had differences but now it is over, we will work together to ensure victory for our party at all levels.
In his address the flag bearer of the party, party Mr.Nuhu Ribadu thanked all and promised to operate an all inclusive government.
He urged the people to bury their differences and work for the victory of the party at all levels.
Those who attended the meeting include those who contested the governorship primaries as well as all the three senatorial candidates of the party.
