The Campaign Team of Distinguished Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo (Ciroman Doma) and the Allied People’s Movement (APM) governorship candidate has been drawn into circulating claims and misinformation alleging that Senator Onawo will not be on the ballot in the 2027 Nasarawa State Governorship Election.

This was contained in a statement by Addra Smart Muhammed for Sen. Onawo Media and Publicity.

We categorically reject and dismiss this claim as baseless, misleading, and without credible foundation.

Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo has publicly declared his intention to contest for the Governorship of Nasarawa State on the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), following his defection to the party. This development has been widely reported.

Furthermore, the campaign team has obtained information from the relevant INEC nomination/aspirant platform, which includes Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo among those seeking the Nasarawa State Governorship position.

Therefore, those spreading rumours that Onawo will not be on the ballot are challenged to produce credible evidence from INEC or the appropriate legal authority to substantiate their claims.

The portrait attached below contains the information obtained from the INEC platform. If anyone doubts its authenticity, we encourage such persons to independently verify the information through the appropriate INEC channels rather than relying on rumours, propaganda or social media speculation.

Let it be clearly understood: Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo remains firmly in the 2027 Nasarawa Governorship race.

The campaign will continue to follow all lawful electoral and party procedures leading to the final publication of the official candidates’ list by INEC.

No amount of misinformation will distract us.
