The Coordinator, Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, Mountain School, Shere Hills, Dr. Waheed Adedeji appealed to the youths not to disappoint the society by indulging in violence activities.
               
Over 500 youths from Plateau North senatorial zone have brainstormed on enlightenment campaign to educate   youths on elections. He said, Nigerian youths as assets and critical instruments for development have been charged to conduct themselves with a sense of responsibility as future leaders who the country is looking up to for direction.
Addressing this at opening ceremony of Youth Camp IV, the Unit yesterday in Jos .
Also speaking, the Commander, Sector three of the Special Task Force, STF, Col. W. T. Akinola urged the youths to “imbibe the culture of peace, preach the message of peace in their various communities so that Plateau can regain its place as the home of peace.”
Earlier, the President of IGSR, Prof. Isawa Elaigwu through the organization’s Operation Manager, Mr. Celestine Ukatu explained the Camp is organized to encourage interaction among people of diverse religions and tribes and inculcate the spirit of teamwork and unity among youths.

He added other aims of the camp are to arrest the cycle of violence in the state, identify early warning and response mechanism, empower youths for economic viability as well as coach the youths to imbibe the culture of peace and values of respect and it will last for seven days.
