The dissolution of Chief Joel Hamanjoda Madaki state Executive council of PDP by the National Working Committee, NWC is rising a serious political tension in the state whereby twenty of twenty are set to gear their political motion to the strongest opposition party in the state, the lawmakers of the State House of Assembly will end up pitching their tents with the All Progressive Congress APC.
The Lawmakers are also irked that they have been used and dumped by party after restoring the glory by the impeachment of Governor Nyako and Grassroots mobilization of electorates in favor of the party.
The Legislators felt That they deserved  a better treatment than they have gotten having sacrificed a lot in terms of Legislative inputs and resources in  rescuing the party which was virtually dead in Adamawa State before the Legislators came to the rescue.
The members who are set to dump the PDP as a result of the unwholesome decisions frosty to their interest and genuine wish of the Adamawa electorates who voted for the party during the last general elections.
A source close to the Members disclosed that they have been considering the Decision   following the recent dissolution of the state Exco of the party by the National working Committee of the party and the altercation of  the list Of Adhoc delegates in favor of a preferred Candidate.
When contacted the Hon Member representing Michika Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Information said the members have become disillusioned with the recent development and are under pressure from their Constituents to reconsider their position in the party In a situation as       present where the party is at variance with the norms of democratic practice where the interest of the majority should supersede that of an individual or a select group.
We are studying what is going  especially the dissolution Of the Exco State , the recent concluded ad hoc delegates elections and the appointment of the caretaker committee which were done without due consultation with the members And Party stakeholders, the source said.
Members of the Adamawa State Assembly had initially been sympathetic with ousted Governor Nyako and the APC until they fell apart due to the high level of Corruption and dictatorial tendencies of the former governor which lead them to re- affirm their allegiance to the PDP.
Members were said to have been promised automatic tickets for any elective position of their choices in return for the ouster of Nyako which the Presidency was so desperate to achieve as at then.
However, indication that the party did not intend to Honourable the promises made emerged when the high powered political game of who gets what’s began last month.
With the dissolution of the Joel Madaki Led PDP Exco matters came to ahead.
It is obvious that the dissolution will trigger a chain of events that could lead to the disintegration of the party in the State.
Sources close to the House said the Lawmakers are set to dump the party for the APC because it appears to be the party that could accommodate their divergent interests.
From the way things are going it will not take a blind man to know that the burgeoning crisis in the PDP will marred its chances in Adamawa State in 2015, a reliable source is quoted as saying.  the Legislators’ unhappiness with the National working committee of the party over a number of issues, is said to have informed a high level meeting of the Legislators in Abuja penultimate week where the Decision to dump the party was taken and that there will be no going back except the promises made to the Legislators are fulfilled
