8,000 Security Agencies Deploy For Presidential Election In Plateau

In an efforts to Monitor successful Presidential Election Scheduled for Saturday ,,the DIG zone D ,Godwin C. Nwobodo has disclosed that ,at least no fewer than Eight Thousands (8,000) personnel  of the Nigeria Security agencies were deploy across the 17 Local Government Areas of Plateau state to man the security including other agencies of federal government.

Nwobodo made this disclosure at the Plateau state Police command on Friday in preparatory to the conduct of the 2019 general election in Plateau to ensure hitch free exercise.

He charged the personnel to defend their country as we don’t have any great country like Nigeria because all of us are one citizens so I employ you to remain committed to the discharge duty .

Nwobod assured the personnel of government readiness to pay all their allowances and the safety of Plateau citizens ,adding , Nigeria Prison service deployed 300 personnel including the military in strategic location to help curtail breakdown of law and order at the polling units .

“We have been talking our personnel through various stakeholders meeting and workshops to guide them against misbehaving or those who want disrupt the voting exercise ate faced the wrap of law enforcement agencies”, he said .

The DIG issued out warning to people who are planning to rig the forthcoming election to stay clear or else they’ve security surveillance across all the polling units including flash points .

No police man would be allow to lead any politician to help subvert the electoral process ,we shall hold them responsible or accountable to truncate the exercise.
