17,863 Nomadic Pupils To  Sit For Common Entrance Exam In Jigawa

Out of the 355 Nomadic primary schools in Jigawa state, 237 Nomadic primary schools will sit for the final exam to go for junior secondary schools; this was announced by the Acting Executive Secretary of Jigawa State Nomadic Education Hajia Ramatu Muhammed in an interview with our correspondent in her office on Wednesday.

Ramatu said in compliance with COVID-19 guidelines the State Ministry of Education has provided facemask for pupils and teachers to all Nomadic Schools in the State and tap buckets to all the 237 Nomadic Schools as well as detergents for handwashing plus a thermometer to measure the temperature of teachers and pupils.

Hajiya Ramatu explained further that a total of 17,863 pupils are to sit for the Common Entrance examination in the 237 nomadic schools in the State.

She explained further that students are seriously eager to go back to their normal classes even those in primary ones.
