NSUBEB Chairman Urge Communities To Take Ownership Of Public Schools

The Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) Dr.Kasim Mohammed Kasim has called on communities with public schools in the State to take ownership of the school in the State.

He gave the disclosure during an exclusive interview with selected Journalists at his office, adding that billions of naira was spend on the replacement of roof of school affected by footballers.

Appealing to Education Secretary’s in the State to ensure an intermittent monitoring  of public schools so as to overcome destruction of schools.

“State Government invested huge amount of money into building and provision of furnitures to those School”

Nsubeb Chairman opined that some villagers succeeded in moving away a complete desk of a school in Akwanga Local Government Area of the State.

He expressed concern over the rising wave of destruction of public schools by gullible elements in the State,Saying those in that habit to desist or face the full wrath of Government.

He said the State Government has outlaw the use of school Premises across the 13 Local Government Areas of the State as a football court for training.

Given an example of one of the most destroyed school to include Dunama Primary and Secondary School and amongst other schools with the State capital.
